Many military spouses have a desire to
achieve educational and professional goals but become discouraged and
put their goals on hold, or give up on them altogether because of the
obstacles specific to the military lifestyle, such as:
- Deployments
- Single parenting
- A spouse that works long,
unpredictable hours
- Frequent
moves
- The inability to complete
your degree before the next move
- Difficulty transferring credits from the previous
location
- Finding the same degree program
- Expense of tuition and books
Despite all
the challenges, there are many programs specifically aimed at
assisting military family members to
reach their goals and it is important that you learn what they are.
Below you will find some of them. Please feel free to
Email us if you would like to share any
additional resources.
